How to transfer 150 GB data from one cloud storage to other

Hi guys,

I have a very serious problem. As every one is familiar with cloud storage service which is growing fast now a days. I have an account on "box.net" containing 150 GB data and now want to transfer it to another cloud service i.e "Google drive". I have used "mybackupbox" for this, but it does not permit to choose files & folder manually. On forward i worked on "storagemadeeasy" but problem arises when uploading whole folder. As there are more files (approx 36,000) than folders, it will take long time to transfer files one by one, Additionally it supports only 2 GB bandwidth monthly on free account.

Please let me know any other method which has a feature to transfer the folder, no bandwidth limit and fast in service as soon as possible. It is really creating problems for me as i want to do it immediately. I request expert to find some way dealing with it. Please

Regards,

Hi Junaid. I think it's impossible to transfer your 150 GB file from your box.net to other virtual storage by using a free account and you only have 2 GB per month. If you want you can transfer all 150 GB files. I'm afraid you have to purchase an account with an account that has a large size of allowed GB per month. It is best for you to have your own Flash drive or hard disk to accommodate your 150 GB file. Of course it will take time to download it, but that's the best method I can advise you with regards to your queries.

Hi,

I have found out it. Otixo is best solution for this and we can move, edit, create new folder along with other functions on online cloud storage. Such like SME Storage and Mybackup web services you will have to synchronize cloud storage accounts, verify them and then enjoy!! I like it as it solved my problem.

Yes, that’s right. It is really not possible to have a free cloud storage account with unlimited bandwidth and can synchronize with other cloud services accounts all at the same time. When I searched before for cloud storage websites because I somewhat need a site to host my files in the future, I was able to find file hosting websites or cloud storage services that provide unlimited space for free accounts and also extend the expiration of files not downloaded to almost 1 year before they actually delete it.

Although the service is quite good, I’m not yet sure if the bandwidth is not restricted. And it’s also possible that free accounts have unlimited bandwidths but are capped on certain speed. Since you are looking for a way of synchronizing your account with another cloud storage account, here are some of the tools you can use:

  • Otixo – I think this is the same tool you are using right now. It is a web-based tool for users who are cloud serious. It is somewhat like a file manager where you can easily do copy and paste tasks between different services. It supports cloud services like Google Drive, Amazon S3, Dropbox, Facebook, SugarSync, Box, CX, SkyDrive, and many other more. It costs $4.99 a month. To signup, visit Otixo.
  • Hojoki – this one is an Android and iOS-based tool for collaborative and team-building activities. It can manage thirty different cloud services such as Evernote, Twitter, Basecamp, Box, SkyDrive, Google Drive, Dropbox, and more. You can also send messages to teammates, manage different tasks, as well as create workspaces. A free account here already allows adding five members while a premium account offers unlimited workspace members for only $5 a month. To create an account, visit Hojoki.
