Hey, Rohan let’s get straight to the point, command line switches are used to control how Outlook starts and helps you when you have problems with it.

Here are the steps of how can you use command line switches in Outlook:

  • Press Windows Logo + R to open Run command.
  • Type; outlook.exe in the box that you opened in step 1.
  • Press the SPACEBAR once, then type a forward slash (/) followed by the switch to use. For example, if you want to use CleanReminders type in the Open box:exe/cleanreminders
  • Click OK or press ENTER after you typed the command.

That is all and this is how command line switches work and there are many of them like /autorun macroname, /cleancategories, etc.

You can find more of these on the Internet
