Hello. You can create Snapshots of an Active Directory using NTDSUITL. Follow the below steps to create snapshots using the NTDSUITL tool, and to know how to use active directory snapshot tool.
- Download and install the NTDSUITL tool in your PC, and run it in the background while creating snapshots.
- Go to search, and open the command prompt and enter the following syntax:
“ntdsuitl.exe snapshot “Activate Instant NTDS” create quit.”
- To view the list of snapshots created, open command prompt, and type the following syntax:
“ntdsuitl.exe snapshot “list all” quit.
- To delete a created snapshot use the following syntax:
Ntdsuitl.exe snapshot “list all” “delete 1”.
