How To Solve Wireless Controller For PS3 Not Working Issue

Recently my friend borrowed my wireless PS3 controller until which it was working fine, but since he returned it whenever I plug it in for charging, it doesn’t connect. It is like it has got no power. I wonder if it has to do anything with its lithium battery or it could be that a soldered connection to the USB port got undone. So how to fix this issue with my wireless controller for ps3 and can it be repaired as it is worth 50$?

Try this! First of all get a USB type cable which has data support just like a printer cable so that your controller is detected by the computer. Now make you have the drivers installed (In case of win 8+ have pre-installed drivers, so you don’t have to do anything). Now as soon as you insert the controller into your PC, the controller lights will start blinking.

Now insert and then remove until your controller starts up. Let it charge up first and don’t start playing until then. Now you can charge it normally. Also, try resetting your controller. You can use a paper clip or so to do that. Also try opening the controller, remove the battery and put it back in. Check if there is any sort of liquid or moisture present in the controller. I hope this worked for you.
