Open your Device Manager and look for the devices which signal an error message or displays a warning sign. Right-click on the driver and click “Uninstall.”

Next, a popup will appear on the screen. Click “OK.”

Then, click on the icon which says “Scan for hardware changes” in the menu.

After doing this, the device manager will automatically scan the changes produced and then reinstall the driver again. Now, your error 43 will not appear again. However, if the fault persists, go to the device manufacturer’s website and download the drivers manually and install them.

Hope it helps.

In Device Manager, if the device is working and functioning correctly, the status should display:

“This device is working properly.”

Then when there is a problem with the device, you would see the message:

“This device cannot start.”

Most of the time, the problem here is with the driver. To fix the problem, make sure the driver of the device is installed properly. If the device is already installed, uninstall it from the Device Manager and then reinstall it. Right-click on the device and select “Uninstall.” Restart the computer and install the driver back.

On the other hand, if the device doesn’t have a compatible driver for your operating system then you cannot install it. In this case, you need to remove the device from your computer and purchase a new device that supports your operating system.
