How To Sleep My PC

I have a Windows 7 PC and recently when I chose for the PC to sleep it wouldn’t stay asleep. Otherwise, it works fine. I have checked if anything is wrong, but nothing seems to come up. I have all legitimate software, and this is the only problem I seem to face.

This can happen when some device can trigger your pc to not be in standby mood for a long time. To resolve this, open command prompt and type in “powercfg –devicequery wake_armed” and press return. Then press Windows key + R and type in “devmgmt.msc” to open the Device Manager. When you type in the prompt command, you will get a list of devices that can trigger your pc to not be in standby mood for a long time, so in the Device Manager select those devices by double-clicking them and look for Advanced or Power Management tab. Now, uncheck all the boxes that wake it and click on ”OK”.
