Hello learners, worried about fixing the error “0x8004011d the server is not available”? Follow the below methods to fix it.
The error may occur due to a server issue. Before performing any method, back up your previous data.
Method 1:
Enable cache mode.
- Hold Windows key + R; this opens up the run dialog box.
- Enter control.exe, click on ok.
- Click on Mail, in the control panel.
- Click on mail account in the mail setup window.
- Click on the email in the account settings window and double click on the account you want to change.
- In the account settings window, go to offline settings, and enable the use of cached exchange mode. Click on next.
- Restart MS Outlook.
Method 2:
Creating a new profile.
- Go to control panel, click on mail.
- Click on show profiles in the mail set up wizard.
- Click on properties, next click on data files.
- Set as default, under the email tab, click on a new button.
- Fill the details, enable the radio button beside “Always use this profile.”
