Hello Techyv Friends,
The Visio directory scanner seems to be running. Visio.exe seems to be in the Processes tab of Windows Task Manager, is it harmful, can I stop or remove visio.exe?

Hello Robert,

 

 

Visio.exe process is the main process file used by Microsoft Visio. Visio is an application used for drawing technical diagrams like flowcharts, organization charts and etc. If you have installed Microsoft Visio then this process must be running and you don’t have to worry about it. Also Visio.exe is a process that does not contain any security risks and not even CPU intensive which means very little CPU needed.

If you get any errors from visio.exe download the tool which I provided below and install and run it to fix those issues.
