Hi! Guys,

I am developing a Blackberry application which has an option in video record and playback. I am pretty sure this is possible to do. But when I attempt to play various videos in my storm simulator it says that I need to insert SD card which I tried to do so. After that, when I played the video it shows an error  that says:

Internal Error – Blackberry Smartphone Simulator

Access violation reading from 0x00000014

Hi!

Blackberry is a smart phone. When a smart phone creates a problem the best way is to just flash the phone memory and reinstall the phone software for the phone to work properly and solve its internal problem.

Sometimes updating with an updated phone software can be helpful.

You also need an internal setting to solve this error.

Though there is another way to solve this error.

If you’re built in software is not working properly then Install some similar software from internet. Some software’s have that kind of capability to configure Blackberry’s settings.

This software can be found in many mobile websites. Most popular mobile website on this link.

Hi!

You can fix this error by doing the following steps,

  1. Open the installation folder of your Simulator in your system.
  2. Search for the file name clean.bat and just run it.
  3. If you get the same error again, go back to your Simulator's installation folder and delete all the .dmp (Screen or Memory Dump) files that exists.

If this solution won't help, try reinstalling your JDE SDK and the Blackberry Simulator. You must uninstall the program first, then restart your PC.
