Hello,

  1. Open the Internet Explorer.
  2. Firefox does not work.
  3. Go to Microsoft Windows Update Catalog link
  4. Install the Active X Control if it is not present in your computer. Click on the gold information bar that is at the top of the screen then click "Install" and
  5. Then again press "Install" to complete the installation.
  6. Enter “Windows XP” into the search column at the right top of the screen and then press "Search."
  7. Organize your results by "Classification", "Products" or "Date" by clicking the title once for ascending order and twice for descending order as you require.
  8. Click "Add" for the update you want to download
  9. Click on "View Basket" to download all updates added by you. You will find it under the search box.
  10. Click on the Download button. Click on "Browse" and select a location for the file and press "Download" to download and save the file updates.

Cheers.

To save Windows XP updates, open your browser and search for "Windows Update" web site. Once you are in, select "Personalize Windows Updates" option inside of "Other Options". "Set Options For Windows Update" window is opened, check the "Display the link to windows update catalog" box under "See also" option and then click "Save settings" tab.

When done, go back to the "Windows Update" site and in the left side of the pane, under "See Also" option, select "Windows Update Catalog". Go to "Find updates for Microsoft operating system" and search for the particular operating system and language.

The last thing to do is to select "Critical updates and Service Packs" option and find all the patches to download, click on "Go to download basket" option to download them.
