Dear Techyv members. I hope you're all doing great. I would like to know how to remove corrupt email from outlook successfully? What steps do I need to take to remove this without making my system hang? Hopefully you can give me a clear insight towards this matter. Thank you.
Deleting Corrupt mail isn't that hard.
Microsoft gives some pointers to get that done but to save you time here we go:
1 Click on the corrupt email once with the left mouse button to select the email.
2 Hold down the shift key then hit the delete key.
That should fix your problem OR if spending cash is your sort of thing: There's a commercial utility DB Xtract which can be used to delete the corrupt email.
The software extracts all messages from outlook after which you can either delete or save it again in your outlook express mail folder.
