I'm planning to overclock two CPUs. One is Intel Core 2 Duo clocked at 2.4 GHz to 3.0 GHz and the the is Pentium 4 clocked at 1.8 GHz to 2.26 GHz. How can I overclock the above mentioned CPUs without facing any problems? What are the grounds to be taken care of after overclocking?

Hello,

As you know overclocking is pushing the CPU to run at faster clock speed provided by the manufacturers. For Intel core 2 Duo you can overclock the CPU simply by raising the Front Side Bus(FSB). For Pentium 4 you can overclock it by raising the Front Side Bus (FSB) until either processor limit or thermal limits.
You also can try setting the FSB from 100 MHz/200 MHz to 133 MHz/ 266 MHz.
