Of course, you have to create an account on the forum before you can actually post your own question or something on the site. Forums help you in fixing some of your problems by posting your concern to the site then wait until others or a user who knows how to solve the problem responds to your post. Forum sites are different from sites that only allow you to post a comment.
I’m not sure if there is a forum site that accepts posting of messages without creating an account first. Creating an account also helps websites avoid spam messages from being posted.
