I am still new with Apple devices and familiarizing myself with basic apps such as Facebook, Twitter, etc. How do I locate iPhone 5 YouTube missing functions such as the rating (star) and share?

You must use iTunes. you need to create account on iTunes. After creating an account you can search for all any app. Facebook, twitter, youtube apps are freely available on iTunes. If you are using pc you can download itune for your pc from following the link.
Once you install the iTunes you can search for apps. you can use your account for PC as well as in mobile. You can check the attached picture for further detail.
