I am not a geek when it comes to computer and most especially when it comes to programming languages. I am seeing websites and I need to know if the site is created by HTML5. How to determine if the web page is based on HTML5? I need help. Thank you.

How to know if a site is created with HTML5

Hello Charlotte Shaw,

To be able to establish if the website you are viewing has been created using HTML 5, then you will need to view the source code of that website. It is a simple process to view the code:

On the website, you will just need to right click and then choose the option for 'viewing the page source' from the list of options that will come up. Once you click that option, a page with the codes that have been used to create the website will come up, and from there you can determine the language that the website has been created it. Note that you can not be able to edit that page because it is read only.

Hope this helps.
