How to Install the Telnet Client on Windows 7?
To Enable Telnet Client on Windows 7:
1. Start > Control Panel > Programs and Features.
2. On the left pane with options, choose "Turn Windows Features On or Off".
3. In the opened window in the list of components, find Telnet Client and select the check-box. Press O.k. to confirm changes.
How to Install the Telnet Client on Windows 7?
Telnet is accessible only if Telnet is activated in Windows. You'll need enable this feature before you can install Telnet and use it's functions.
This telnet allows you to access the network protocol to log-on to another computer that is connected on the same network. This use Local Area Network and is text-oriented communications via virtual terminal connection.
You'll get to access the user Interface, mostly Operating System or the Gui of a certain device attached. Device such as modem, routers and computer platforms. This established connection to the client's protocol and gives you access to their interface.
Do this below to activate this feature.
Go to Start, Control Panel
Click on Programs and go to Programs and Features
Click on Turn Windows features on or off
Put a check box on Telnet Client
Click OK and this should let you access Telnet
