How to install Sonic net net extender on Windows 8

I am still searching around to find a solution for getting this to work. I know most people may not use this but I thought I would throw the question out there. I use a sonic net net extender for work and is going fine in Windows 7.  But when I tried installing it on Windows 8 it doesn’t work and says that “A damaged version NetExtender was detected on your computer, please reinstall NetExtender to fix the problem”.  I had tried to put it in compatibility mode for Windows 7 and run as an admin to where the remote access connection is accessible.  But the device manager has unknown devices that were listed as sonicwallnxdrv and unable to get anything either online or by trying to point it to the install folder to recognize the drivers.  Any suggestions would be appreciated for sonicWall ssl-vpn NetExtender version 4.0.131.  Thank you.

Hi Jimon,

I understand your concern about NetExtender now working on your computer with Windows 8. However, the error message you received while installing it on your new Windows 8 does not mean that you have to reinstall anything including any drivers needed for the software. You just have to download the latest version of NetExtender which the current version now is 6.0.181 You can download it using your account on www.mysonicwall.com.
