I am attempting to install Microsoft Office Live Communications Server 2003 Administration Tools and have inserted the Office 2003 CD-ROM in my computer’s drive. However, the installer still keeps on asking me to insert the CD. Can you please tell me what is wrong?

It seems that the CD you are using for the installation is not being detected, and that may be a problem possibly with the DVD drive of the CD itself. In case you have mishandled the CD and thus left it with scratches, then it is possible that the sensitive of the CD has been messed hence the data from it cannot be read by the DVD drive. You can test that by trying to boot the CD from another computer and see if it works.
In case the CD works properly on another computer then the problem is with your DVD drive; the cable connecting the drive to the motherboard may be loosely attached or not attached at all and therefore you will need to troubleshoot that, or dust may have accumulated on the DVD drive causing it not to read the data from the CD.
