I recently acquired my Samsung Galaxy Y from Hong Kong. I tried installing Instagram through their website but the installation is always failed. My friend have the same phone so I'm sure that it's compatible to my mobile phone. What can be the problem and how can I solve it?

As I read on your question here, you have a problem installing Instagram on your Samsung Galaxy Y, most common reason why you will not succeed in installing Instagram, is the free space available in your memory module, if its so, try to delete some data in order to fit the application, remember you will need 16MB of space and much more is also better, after which Try to download Instagram from the Google Play app, and check also the model of your phone, there are options there in download site on which version is compatible to your phone.

Maybe you’re the memory of your memory card is not enough with the application of the Instagram. You should have enough memory storage so that it will successfully download on your phone. Much better to buy new and more GB memory card or Delete some files or application that you don’t use. Then try again installing and download it.
Make sure the application is compatible with your phone model and also the OS type. Make sure the entire requirement of the application is compatible with your phone.
