I know that damn small linux installation is a risky process. I never did it but before two days , I had tried to install it . I created a app 275 MB Linux partition with fdisk. It took boot into damn small linux by using CD but I was getting problem in bios . So, I need to know the accurate install process. Please help me anyone .

As u mentioned, installation of damn small Linux (DSL) is a risky process. Here is the procedure on how to go about it:

Create an application 250-300MB Linux partition with cfdisk or fdisk

Boot into Damn Small Linux from CD and enter the terminal

Execute “dls-hdinstall” by typing “sudo –u root dls-hdinstall” (with no quotes) and enter the created partition.

Execute “mkliloboot” by typing “sudo –u root mkliloboot” (with no quotes). Enter the partition that you install it on. This creates “initrd” and sets up “LILO”.
