First of all, you need to check the compatibility of flash player whether it is supported 64 bit or 32 bit. Then the PC’s internal configurations like RAM. Moreover you should check the computer whether it is virus affected or not. There are some malwares which are harmful for running video in specific browser.

Hi Artman,

I will try to give instructions as clear as possible. Please follow them very carefully to make Adobe Flash Player work. Off the point, your Windows XP is 64 BIT OS.

  1. Firstly, uninstall Flash Player. DOWNLOAD this uninstaller and run it. You must close all Flash-related programs and browsers that you have before attempting to uninstall.
  2. Delete Flash Player files and folders.
  • Choose Start > Run. Copy and paste this line: C:Windowssystem32MacromedFlash
  • Click OK. Delete ALL files and folders in there.
  • Restart your PC.

Now verify that the files FlashPlayerCPLApp.cpl, FlashPlayerApp.exe, and FlashPlayerInstaller.exe in C:WindowsSysWOW64 have been deleted.

Try again to install the newest version of Flash Player from HERE. Once installed, restart your PC. After these steps you should have a working Flash Player for IE. If it's still not working, please follow these steps to further configure Flash Player.

Good luck to you.
