I have been slow in switching over to cloud storage and would appreciate any tips on getting started. The first part I am trying to decide is how important is the platform as a service? Will it make my system look like it is running on a single server? And will it be seen online and open to being hacked?
How Important Is The Platform As A Service?
Hello Marco,
It's a common misconception about  Cloud services. It is secured and sometimes even more secure than your current infrastructure. Think of it this way- neither of you are safe from hackers, it will just vary on what resources you put in to prevent them from accessing it. Since we need resources, they are the ones who has capacity provide such since it's their business- rather than a customer who's business is about making a pizza. Bottomline, getting into cloud is the way to go, cheaper and secured. You won't ask for more.
