For backup on core FTP you are required to follow these steps :

  • Go to "Site Menu"
  • Click on Site Manager
  • Right-click on area in the context-menu then click on  "Export".

This will save your FTP data on your Hard disk.

If you want to restore then do the same but in the context-menu Click on  "Import".

Thanks

Hello Armstrong,

To import a Core FTP backup on your computer, consider the following steps:

1.    Click on Site menu then Site manager once you open the Core FTP.

2.    When the window opens, right click on the area and from the context menu that appears, choose import. (This enables restoring of all the files that you had backed up using the Core FTP).

However, for you to have achieved this, you should have previously backed up your settings on the Core FTP site i.e. by:

1.    Clicking on the Site menu then Site Manager

2.    When the window opens and you right click on area, chose the option ‘Export’. This enables the saving of your current settings to the hard disk ready for restoration when needed.

I hope that you will gain from this information.

Martin East.
