Hello Michael.

Sending e-mail attachments of that size is a very bad idea.  Most e-mail servers set a limit to how large any user's Inbox is as well as how large an attachment it will send or receive.  Even Gmail has a 25 megabyte limit to its attachments.  If you insist on sending it via E-mail then you should split it into several chunks.   Most file archiving programs such as WinZip, WinRAR or 7-zip has options to split it into volumes.  Make sure to send it in batches to give time for the recipient to download each e-mail first before uploading another batch.  Doing so will avoid clogging up the mail server.

One option that you can do is to upload the file to a file server.  One example is Dropbox (https://www.dropbox.com/).  You can sign up for free and get 2GB free space.  Just share the link to your intended recipient and let them download it through dropbox.

Hope this helps!
