I work on Windows NT which has many nodes connected to it. I have installed a modem in the NT server. As we have an internet account, is there any way that I can access the modem connected to the NT server through the nodes?

I’m not sure if you can connect to the modem if that modem is connected directly to the server. There is no way of accessing the modem. But if the modem is connected to a router, you can then share and access the internet through the router that is connected to the modem.

All your connections will still go through the server because it has full access to the modem and it is the main computer that connects you to the internet through the router and modem.

All Local Area Networks use a router to manage the traffic that goes around the network.
