How do I merge HTML filesTXT Mac?

Hi guys.  I would like to combine an HTML file with a TXT file into one single file.  How do I merge HTML files TXT Mac and do I need a software for this?  I have the 27" iMac with OSx Mountain Lion.  Thanks in advance.
