How do I Mac icon export to Windows 8?

Hi guys,

I just installed Icons from ITunes for creating personalized ICNS files on my iMac.  How do I export the Mac icon to a Windows 8 system and do I have to convert it to an ICO file?  I have an iMac with OSx Mountain Lion.

ICNS is Mac icon format and ICO is Windows icon format. You can convert these formats through many converters.
