Hello fellow members.  I'm trying to watch streaming video on Google Chrome but it gives a "Windows Media Player plug in must be installed to watch this video" message.  I'm on Ubuntu 13.04.  How do I install Ubuntu Chrome Window Media Player plug in?

Greetings,

I understand you need a plugin for Google Chrome for video streaming. I have a few suggestions I could offer. Totem-mozilla might be what you need. Also, you may install the Moonlight plugin, it is a Unix counterpart of Microsoft Silverlight, which should fix your online streaming issues with Ubuntu. Alternatively, if you are out options, you may install VLC player and use that instead, although it's not a plugin but a stand alone player.
