It takes too much time to load the swf files in my browser. Is there any way to fix this problem, what I found was that we can compress the swf files to decrease the swf load times. Does that actually work ?

There is no quick answer to this query. There are several reasons behind which an swf file takes a lot of time to load in the browser. Decreasing the file size might work sometimes but not always and it also decreases the quality. I have tried so I know about it. As your problem is in browser, you should divide your applications into modules or make sure all media properties does not automatically load in the browser but only does on demand. Avoid using files like jpg or png and try to use vectors but stay away from using all the unnecessary stuffs that your browser doesn't need often.
It did work for me and I guess you will have the same effect. Try it out.
