Hi. To learn how to convert QuickTime to Windows movie maker, you can use the iSkysoft software which does the conversion for Windows 10, 8, XP, 7 and Vista. To begin with the conversion, first download the program and then install it using the instructions displayed on the screen. After the installation is done, open the start menu and from that, click on the icon of the software. Then, after the program opens, drag the files which need to be converted. Then, from the format list, select the WMV option. Click on the settings button in case any modifications regarding the bit rate or any other video setting needs to be done. Towards the end, select the convert button to begin the conversion.

You can also download the Java media framework along with the JRE. After the framework has been installed, open the bin directory where you will find a file with the name jmstudio.exe which needs to be clicked on. Open the QuickTime file which needs to be converted. After selecting the file, click on the Export option to save the file in the Windows movie maker format. After the conversion is complete, you can exit the JMStudio. Next, the exported AVI file can be browsed and imported into the MS Movie maker which can be cropped and edited.

Hope we helped.
