Hi Friends,

I am trying to convert my midi format to aac codec. How to convert midi to aac mac using iTunes software, when I use iTunes to convert the file the search doesn't show the midi format files. Whether I should use any other converters for conversion within my Mac OS X system.

You can download the 10.3 version of iTunes which recognizes Midi files and convert them to AAC since iTunes 10.5 will not recognize midi files.
Otherwise, a free software such as Audacity may help.
You need to add a LAME encoder for aac output, install Soundflower and declare it as the input for Audacity. You can increase the volume throughout the track, using Audacity's effects menu, and then save IT. Once done, using the Sound preferences of the machine, switch back to the inbuilt speakers and you'll be able to listen to a version with higher volume, which is playable in iTunes 10.5.
