While connecting cords to the rear of a sound card and the card has a blue red yellow and black port. Which port is likely to be used for sound input from a DVD player sitting beside the computer?

Hey Ulysses arredondo!

Normally every sound card has Black, Blue, Green, Yellow colored points. Now if you want to attach your DVD player then you must have to use the Line-in port. Check the port on which Line-in is written. As you want to give input via DVD player then input must be given from Line-in port. Usually Blue color port is used for Line-in. Basically this port is used for all music related external devices like CD player, DVD player, Microphone etc.

I hope that you understand it now, and are able to connect your DVD player with computer.

Thanks
