How to change the time zone in Outlook

Hi,

I am using Outlook 2007 and would like to see the appointments sent by the sender in the time zone that I have set. But currently, when I open the appointment by double clicking it, it is shown in the time zone sent by the sender. I have already set my current time zone by choosing the Tools> Options menu in the menu bar and have also tried choosing the Additional Time Zone option. This however does not seem to make any change. How do I make the required changes in the Outlook calendar?

Can anyone help me?

Thanks.

If heard about this problem many times. as far as I know, there are many computers which will have this wicked problem no matter what you do. In others it is caused due to a certain type of a bad virus. You can try reinstalling your whole system by using the windows cd,and then install the software. Remember,if you do not back up your important files, then you will lose a lot of your stuff along the process. If the problem stays try scanting it with a good licensed anti-virus. But if you still can not get rid of this wreched thing, well;then you can not.

Hi,

Actually this is default behavior of the Ms Outlook Calendar. And when you see an appointment it will be shown as the admin has set the time zone for that appointment. Microsoft has now released a new Time zone update. As per Microsoft it will resolve the time zone issue. Now you can see the appointment in your own time zone.

You can go to Microsoft website and download Microsoft Outlook Time Zone Tool. Although it is part of outlook but Microsoft recommends using new updated tool.
