How can I get CDDB Mac application for music information?

Hi! I would like to get a CDDB Mac application to use in getting audio information over the internet. I have never used CDDB before and therefore I would like to get some information on how it works. A specific question is whether it can get music information for a song that is not on a CD. Thanks a bunch for your response.

How can I get CDDB Mac application for music information?
