I use Dosbox to capture screenshots and record gameplay footage.Â
Is it possible to print on the network printer via LPT ports using Dosbox?Â
I have Dosbox Version 0.74 that I use on my Windows XP 64 bit OS.Â
How can Dosbox activate LPT ports?
How can Dosbox activate lpt ports?
Hello,
Sure it's possible to print documents via LPT ports using DOSBox.
Â
Before starting, once thing you'll need is your computer name. If you don't know it, you can easily find it by right-clicking on My Computer > Manage > Properties > Computer Name. You will also need the printer's name, check for that under Printers.
Â
To activate the connection, you need Command Prompt. Click the Start button, choose Run, type cmd and click the OK.
When the Command Prompt is up, type:Â
key: net use lpt1: \PCnameprintername /persistent:yes,
Replace PCname with your computer name, and printername with the printer's name.
Â
When done, press Enter.Â
