How to boot a Flash drive (USB 3.0) using USB 3 port

Hi everybody,

I am able to create a bootable 16 GB flash drive (USB3.0) by using LiLi. I have used Yumi to create flash drive that is bootable.

But I couldn't make it boot when I connect to the US 3.0 port. When I press F8 it is not showing up as bootable. Even in the BIOS this is not showing up. However, it is booting when I plugged into a USB 2.0 port. Also, If I create a flash drive, USB 2.0 bootable, it is working with USB 3.0 port.

What is wrong with the USB 3.0 flash drive? Why is not being booted and not even showing in the BBS popup? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks a lot in advance!

Hi Archey, somehow if it asks for the driver, just hit cancel or ESC then you will be forwarded to the welcome screen and from there try to unplug the USB pendrive or flash drive and plug it into another USB port.  Then try to set it up again. Another work around is try to re-make your bootable disc drive into a fresh image of the OS and enable the option for ACI in BIOS system.
