Adprep.exe is the Active Directory preparation tool which is used to prepare an existing Active Directory environment for a newer version of directory service.
ADMT Active Directory Migration Tool is used to restructure Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 or Active directory domains.
Rendom.exe and Gpfixup.exe are domain rename tools, used to rename and restructure domains and adjust groups policy setting to accommodate new structure.
