How to add icon in outlook folders?
I am a newbie in the Microsoft outlook application and was wondering if there are freeware or shareware download on how to add icon in outlook folders?
Or
what is the process or the procedure to be followed?

Its good to hear that you are learning Outlook and Now you need to know before starting the work. Here I am going to suggest you briefly about the Outlook icons conception and how to get it. Microsoft outlook generally able to keep various types of item such as email, calendar, contacts, Folders, Security, Flags, Tasks, conference messages, Journal etc.You didn't inform us about the version of the Microsoft office.
After Following the instruction which are given below , You will be able to successfully perform the task.
Adding of new icon is not possible unless Outlook 2010. For only Outlook 2010 use MAPIFolder.SetCustomIcon . You will be called GetCustomIcon from code which execute the processing as outlook. The main drawback that custom folder icon is not available unless this session and for this reason setting up custom folder icon have to for every time and custom folder icon will not be appeared to the clients of Outlook web Access . It also doesn't appear at outlook of a mobile device. SetCustomIcon process is only for 2010.
