Our company have been using Peachtree as the software for our book of accounts, there were times when we need to access DAT files from the sql server peachtree but failed to do so. We have been having problems as the files we got are in DBF files and can't find ways to extract the data we need from the DBF itself, what are ways and means to do so? Or are there any other ways to extract a file from the sql server peachtree that is not in a DBF file? Are there other intermediate files that can be used?

Hey Scott,
There are several ways to convert. DBF files to any other file type.
1. You should try downloading a .DBF converter. Try one that has a trial period to see if it works how you actually want it to.
2. You may also use the Peachtree.SDK to design an interface for Peachtree, which means that you will also be required to do the same for MS Access. This will require you to have some knowledge of database. Should you choose this method, read the Miva Script Reference Manual here.
3. You may also purchase PawCom here; this software will enable you to transfer data between Peachtree and any app that is COM compatible.
Have a good one.
