I am using Microsoft e-mail service Outlook which is known as Hotmail service in past. I have deleted some contacts mistakenly from my Outlook account. As Outlook provide option to restore deleted contacts, I have tried this by going to “People page” then in menu bar clicked on “manage” option and then clicked on “restore deleted contact “option. But unfortunately I was not able to restore them. Also tried on different browsers but no success. Please suggest solution for this.

Dear Hiram B Nunn,

You are using the right method but keep in mind following points.

1. To restore deleted items you must first have "Microsoft Exchange Server Account". It doesn't work with POP3 and IMAP accounts which usually most of users use.

2. You cant restore more than 30 days old deleted contacts.

3. In outlook we have deleted items folder. And luckily all of the deleted contacts go directally in deleted items folder. Therefore please look first in the deleted items folder and if your contacts are there, you can simply drag and drop to contact folder to restore the contacts.
