Is the new Power Zest ICS similar to Google TV? The Honeywld product has a remote control and an infrared keyboard. The latter is said to be offered as an add-on to the product. Is it true that the firmware is outdated? I heard it runs Android but what are the other details to this intriguing product?
Hi Vicky, this product is not a Google TV device, and it runs Android 4.0 with heavily skinned, and remote control friendly IU. A Marvell with a good SoC, It features Qdeo technology, 1Gb of RAM, its available in four colors(red, blue,black and yellow), 1.2 GHZ dual core, the OS storage memory is 2Gb provided by microSD card flash.
You can find the power LED and infrared receiver at the front and at the back, is the power button, 3.5mm AV connector (for analog audio/video), optical audio output, HDMI socket, two USB 2.0 ports, a 100baseT Ethernet jack and a 12v DC power input. No wireless support.
The box is still running early firmware. Anyway, it is navigating Android D-pad with four buttons.
