A software called Recovery for Photoshop will help you repair the corrupted Photoshop drawings in the following formats: .pdd, .psd.
The data that is recovered is saved into a set of bitmap files (.bmp), with each of it representing one layer of the original Photoshop file or as a file in original PSD format at user's option.

I also use Adobe Photoshop, and if Photoshop files are old, they tend to become corrupted. So I, too, needed recovery software. Both experts have given me an answer but I like to use Head Jonathon’s software, it’s great. All types of Photoshop files can be repaired easily within a second!
