Hi. I am using nuendo for first time. I am having trouble while installing it. It says, "do you want to make this soundcard default?". I pressed ok. And my system rebooted. Now my sound card doesn't work at all. What should i do now. I've already uninstalled it, but still not getting any sound.

hi,biplob

You have had this problem till your sound system as before to use. Though you un-install this but you can not default your sound system which reflect on your whole sound catalogue. Delete the box from 'C' drive which un-installed. If it is not recover you can try your Anti Virus scanner, Whole system you have to scan.

It must be the new Anti soft to use. Multimedia software you use have changed to other software for test.The last recommendation, you can re-install your sound by the Disk that would give by your system operator. Audio and select the right one that before you use.

=====thanks=====

Maybe something went wrong with your installation with Nuendo. Try uninstalling it then restart your computer. After that, check your computer for any possible errors. Use a disk utility application to check the system. For a much thorough diagnostics on the system, use a disk utility application like Norton SystemWorks or Norton Utilities. After doing the disk check on your computer, install Nuendo again. Before installing it again on your computer, be sure that this version is really compatible with your operating system.

If you are installing an older version of Nuendo, try visiting http://www.brothersoft.com/nuendo-72289.html and then download Nuendo 5.5.3. This version is compatible with Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7.
