I was generating our quarterly Payroll report and needed some help. However, when I went to the Help portion, I got this error message.
Peachtree Accounting cannot start Help. It is possible that a Help topic is not available for this area. If you continue to receive this error in other areas reinstall Peachtree Accounting. If you just installed Peachtree Accounting, you must restart Windows to activate Peachtree’s Help System.
We just recently upgraded our Peachtree Accounting System but have been long time users of the software. I wondered why this happened to us. I knew the tech support has installed the Help System.
Any experts from this forum who can help us resolve the problem?
We really need this Help System ASAP.
Got an error while using Help Option in Peachtree Accounting System
Some of the Peachtree accounting components may not have taken effect and therefore you will need to refresh the system for the components to take effect. I will suggest that you do the following:
Restart the computer if you had not restarted it after you finished installing the application. If you had already restarted the computer, then I will suggest that you close the application completely, end its processes from the task manager and then restart the application again to refresh the settings.
If the remedy above does not work, then you will need to reinstall the application again. Make sure that you follow the right procedure during the installation and restart the computer when the installation finishes before you start using the application.
