Hi,
We have been using the Norton Safety Reminder and Norton Online family when we got this error message.Â
I know we are always connected to the internet.Â
I also have searched the web but am not sure of the correct resolution.Â
Any advice on how to resolve this error?

This error is usually encountered in wireless connections such as those who are using mobile broadband where unpredictable loss in connection should be expected because it relies only on phone signals. The greater the signal, the better the connection.
But if you are using a cabled internet then you have a steady connection. Maybe the error occurred between the installed Norton Safety Reminder and the Symantec’s server for Norton Online Family is only temporary and will be available again soon.
If too many users from different countries all over the world are requesting data from Symantec’s server there is a greater chance of getting an error in connection. You should wait for a few minutes until the connection to their server is already accessible.

You should try checking the compatibility of the installed Norton with the OS.
If the OS is of lower version as compared to the Norton’s version then it may create problem also while uninstalling Norton, where as if OS is of higher version then you may get updates of Norton by connecting to internet.
Safety minder is the most recent free service provided by Norton. Though its giving the problem but after getting the things alright that software may give you great surfing and secure experience as well.
