Hi All,

I heard that Google has an integration with the ArcGIS Platform that allows users to access Google Maps Engine content within ArcGIS Desktop, Do I need to have any Google Map plugin for ArcGIS, or any other way of accessing, Please provide me the process of doing the same.

The 'Arc2Earth' software can be used to access Google maps on the ArcGIS platform.
The features provided by Arc2Earth software are as mentioned below:
1) It maintains the local file named GeoDatabase cache to maintain online data
2) It has integration with ArcGIS desktop
3) It provides navigate editing tools for changing the images

The steps for connecting the Arc2Earth software with Google maps are as follows:
1) Select the Google maps engine from the Add provider window
2) Click 'Connect with Google Account' button
3) Log on the Google account using the authentication provided to the user
4) Allow the user to access the account

5) Select the GME project to sync with the existing user
6) Click 'Connect' button for establishing the connection
7) The sync will create the table cache for the data sources
8) Drag the tables on the ArcMap and select the appropriate tables to be used
