Google Earth3D-System exception was raised and it’s dumping memory

In my Windows using qgroundcontrol, when I go to Google earth 3D, I get an error message. Using F5, it starts fine. When I go for connecting a link using MAV, window breaks and shows me a blue screen with the message- “a System exception was raised and it's dumping memory.”

Using Wine, when I go for starting the program, I can see the first image with the program name here. Prior to load the screen of qgroundcontrol the program (Wine) shows me an error message and close afterwards.

Using Linux Dev, when I build a project, I can there almost 30 warnings. I execute it though and it works then. The background color on artificial horizon is not working while the miniature is going fine. As I am working with Mavlink and I need to depict it as showing in the video.

Please help me in this regard.

Hello

Blue screen also known as "Blue screen of death" is common when you have memory problems (hardware problems).

Try to run memtest and make sure you don't have any hardware problems. Regarding about your Google Earth's problems, if you get blue screen every time you start Google Earth then there is something wrong with your graphics card (because Google Earth uses much of the GPU).

I posted only guidelines where you problem could be, now you should search for real problem because we can't help you like this.

Regards.

Hi there Danny K Crawford,

Have you tried running some other 3D application on your computer? Are they working fine or you're getting blue screens then as well?

The problem could be in both, software and hardware. Knowing your native OS and numbers stated in BSOD would help in resolving your problem.

In the beginning, try upgrading the Wine. If the upgrade doesn't help, try downgrading it to the older version and tweaking your graphic performance as much as possible.

I would also suggest you to perform RAM and graphic card tests to see if your hardware is working fine.

Best regards,
