  • Since you said you already had scanned your computer using Anti-virus software and still getting redirected, we need to check for a possible redirect virus infecting your computer. Removing some redirect viruses is not that easy since they can hide from regular antivirus program.  For that reason, Anti-virus and Anti-spyware software sometimes failed to detect and remove such infection.
  • Here’s some simple things you have to make sure though.
  • You have to make sure that you got the latest Update of your Anti-virus software.
  • You also need to have the latest browser version (Internet Explorer, Chrome, FireFox)

Resolutions you can try:

  1. Except from running your Anti-virus software, try running Malware bytes Anti Malware
  2. Run Spyware Doctor with Anti-virus and do a complete scan.  Its free here: It is better to try more than one to be able to catch every case of Malware on your computer.
  • Resetting your router might help you as well. You can unplug it for a minute, and turn it back on. You might need to use a pin to reset it.
  • You can also try to reset your browser to the default settings. This will remove any changes on your IE and will reset your browser for a fresh start. For IE, do this: Go to Tools > Internet Options > Advanced tab > under Reset Internet Explorer Settings, click Reset.
  • If all still fails, it might be a bad Google redirect virus which may need registry modification to remove it.
