Hello.

I have pc that runs on windows 7 operating system. Recently I have installed gimp 2.8.4 on my pc. When I try to zoom in an image, gimp crashes and shows me an error. It is very urgent for me that I edit this image, so if someone knows how to solve this I will be very thankful.

This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.

Please contact the application’s support team more information.

First, make sure your operating system is supported since you are using an old Gimp version. You may also try restarting your computer and open Gimp again then see if it works. If not, try reinstalling Gimp. If you have been using this program for quite some time and it’s just now that this error happened, there is probably a damaged file in there.

Uninstall Gimp then click Start, All Programs, Accessories, System Tools, and select Disk Cleanup. Select drive C and click OK. Check “Temporary files”, click OK, and wait until it is finished cleaning the system. Reboot your computer afterwards and install Gimp again. See if this works. If still not, download the latest version from Gimp 2.8 Download.

This is the best version for you because it supports even the latest version of Microsoft Windows. Gimp 2.8 the latest version supports Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 2, Windows Server 2003 R2, Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows Server 2012, Windows Server 2012 R2, Windows XP Service Pack 2 x64, Windows XP Service Pack 3 x86, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, and Windows 8.1.
