My Windows 7 can't connect to a WebDAV server. An error message is showing up when I  try to connect with a WebDAV server. Can anyone please solve this problem?

Open Folder

\files.riverdale.edu@SSLDavWWWRootadmin is not accessible.  You might not have permission to use this network resource.  Contact the administrator of this server to find out if you have access permissions.

Multiple connections to a server or shared resource by the same user, using more than one user name, are not allowed.  Disconnect all previous connections to the server or shared resource and try again.

You must try to do the following things. Connecting windows 7 to a Webdav server is a bit sticky because there are issues with Windows 7.Proxy must not be configured and you must enter your credentials when you access an FQDN site.  In IE, you cannot use explorer view.  You may also have some problems on the Webdav front . You must also make sure that they are no problems from that side.

Cheers.

Hi,

First thing that you have to do is to update your windows. Most of the errors that occur and reported to Microsoft and they are then fixed in the form of updates. Secondly make sure that you have the administrative privileges and if you have Admin privileges then try turning off your UAC( User Account Control) by going to Control panel> User accounts> UAC and then move the slider to the bottom. I hope this helped
